Plan Your Visit

We will spend quite a bit of time discussing the reason you are seeking out treatment, so that we can guide you in the right direction.

Most patients will begin with Acupuncture to address their current health issues, however we will make that determination during your initial consultation.

We will go over your intake form and discuss your health history. We will review any and all recent blood work. It is important to gather as much information as we can during this time, as we are always focusing on treating you as a whole person, rather than just the one complaint you may have. Some questions may seem weird or irrelevant, but at Evolve we see relevance in everything from your parents' health history to your sleep habits to whether or not you prefer hot or cold drinks. Everything is connected!

After we talk, we may take your pulse and/or look at your tongue. We will also palpate different areas of the body—areas of pain, meridians, muscle channels, the abdomen. This will further help us assess what is going on in your body in order to come up with a treatment plan that best suits you. After we’ve gathered all of this information we will design a protocol that is right for you. 

Our goal during this appointment is to put protocols in place to help your body heal.

We will then set up your acupuncture appointments to get you started on your healing journey. This may incorporate cupping, gua sha, electric stim and herbal remedies.

We are always interested in your nutrition because we know that food is medicine and plays an essential role in your healing. We offer Holistic Nutrition to help make your healing as expedient as possible. Our Director of Nutrition works with each patient individually to come up with just the right plan for your health goals.
